Performance at a glance
PERFORMANCE AT A GLANCE
CONNECTED PERFORMANCE SERVICE
In today's competitive industrial world, leveraging data is crucial for staying ahead. Our Performance at a Glance digital platform combines machine data and AI-driven visual monitoring to improve uptime, protect pack quality, and deliver measurable OEE gains.
With data-driven service and AI analytics, we turn Mondini tray sealers into connected, intelligent assets.
System Philosophy
Mondini PAAG is built on a simple principle.
Digital performance capability is engineered into every Mondini machine and offered as part of the initial investment.
REAL-TIME INSIGHTS
- Giving manufacturing organisations the visibility needed to effectively manage production.
- Designed for all functions from VP of Operations to Engineering & Production Managers
Connect targets, data and production to drive faster decisions and better operational performance.
Daily reports reveal operational trends over time, improving planning, forecasting and continuous process improvement.
Turn insights into coordinated actions, helping teams respond quickly, resolve issues and keep production running smoothly.
Measure the impact of the actions taken, identify new opportunities for optimisation and consolidate more efficient and reliable performance over time.
PERFORMANCE IN ACTION
Performance at a Glance is designed to turn real-time production
data into clear, actionable insights.
In this customer story, the value of the platform is told directly
by those who use it every day: greater visibility, faster reactions
to production changes, and decisions based on facts rather than
assumptions.

Features
Performance at a Glance
The daily production efficiency report provides an automatic and quick insight into the packaging line. The key data of the previous production day, such as OEE, line throughput, most impactful alarms and machine status, are all accessible with a simple glance at the report.
Employing this tool facilitates informed assessments and better planning for upcoming operational cycles.
Our new web application grants a fast and live overview of the production, status and efficiency for all the connected Mondini machines, which can also be installed in different plants. This cloud-based solution provides a safe and regulated access, facilitating real-time oversight and data analysis across multiple sites.
Data access helps the engineering team in identifying any machine drift, allowing immediate actions, improving production quality and reducing the machine downtime.
Exploiting the data history, it is possible to extract a precise reconstruction of the machine failures, reducing the Mean Time To Repair.
The alarm history enables engineers to meticulously analyze the causes of each machine downtime. The platform utilizes Pareto analysis and alarm trend examination to facilitate in-depth incident reviews. This enables a focus on the reasons for efficiency losses, ultimately improving overall efficiency and increasing insight into the equipment.
The system provides effortless and comprehensive analysis of production activities, allowing for a precise examination of various production metrics. These insights empower better decision-making, with the aid of analytical features that facilitate informed and proactive production management, ultimately optimizing production processes and performance.
Our KPI Analysis system provides a robust tool for continuous performance monitoring, facilitating technical issue identification and resolution, while also allowing for the comparison of multiple KPIs. This ensures high operational standards and the achievement of production targets.
The integration of the calendar system enables the scheduling and planning of services, maintenance sessions, and operator shifts. Improved organization results in higher data quality and increased efficiency.
The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems
The 3rd tier of the MES pyramid includes SCADA systems and human-machine interfaces (HMI). Here, process data is monitored and stored through user interfaces. SCADA is used to control multiple machines in complex, multi-site processes.
The difference between SCADA and the Control level can be unclear. Both interact with the shop floor, but SCADA is used to refine or adjust control values. For example, it can change a sealing temperature from 185°C to 180°C.

The Planning Level Including MES and MOM
The MES/MOM layer connects business planning with shop floor execution, offering full visibility over production activities.
It enables production scheduling, performance tracking, and resource optimization, helping companies improve efficiency and reduce operational losses.
